Richards Elite x TBT

Big news! We are thrilled to announce that Richards Elite will be entering a team in the TBT this summer.

As the British team, we are aiming for the incredible $1.5 million jackpot in this tournament.

To build our squad, we will be hosting tryout sessions across the country to find the British talent (aged 17 or over) to join our team and travel to the U.S.

We will split the tryout in two age group – age 17-20 and age 21+ and we will select players from each of these age group.

This is a once-in-a lifetime opportunity to compete on an international platform and gain exposure at the high level of basketball.

What is TBT?

TBT stands for The Basketball Tournament. TBT is March madness in the summertime. A nationally televised 64-team bracket style event where the winning team takes home $1 Million.

TBT has hosted and broadcast more than 650+ games on ESPN for the past decade. More than 70 players have gone on to sign NBA contracts after competing in TBT. The tournament will be broadcast on FOX Sports and YouTube.

How do the tryout works?

The tryout session will be split in to 2 age groups (17-20 and 21+).
MVP from both age group from each tryout will advance to the Grand final
We will then select the players from the Grand Final to the Richards Elite TBT Roster

How to book into the tryout session?

Complete the tryout form to select the tryout date and location and registration fee (£75) by using this link
We will be in touch afterwards to confirm the registration
Please note: Booking is first come first serve basis so please reserve your place as soon as possible

What is included if I get selected?

A roster spot on the Richards Elite TBT squad
Return flights and accommodation will be paid
Your share of the prize money

19/04 Saturday: UEL SportsDock (University Of East London, 4-6 University Way, London E16 2RD) 8am (only for age group 16-20)
20/04 Sunday: UEL SportsDock (University Of East London, 4-6 University Way, London E16 2RD) 8am (only for age group 21+)
27/04 Sunday: The edge (University of Leeds, Willow Terrace Road, Leeds LS2 9JT) 4pm
